$13.5 Million Settlement
We represented over 11,000 Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who worked for Bayada Home Health in Pennsylvania.
Over a period of time, Bayada failed to pay their nurses for the important work they performed during their shift, providing vital care for very sick pediatric patients who were homebound.
In addition, Bayada failed to pay its nurses for mandatory in-service training.
We filed a class action on behalf of all nurses in Pennsylvania who were not adequately compensated by Bayada.
For over eight years, we litigated the case and obtained several experts in nursing standards and statisticians who proved that Bayada did not pay the nurses for the time that they had worked.
The case went to trial, where, after a few days, we secured a significant settlement of $13.5 million for over 11,000 nurses in Pennsylvania.
If you or someone you know has been denied just compensation, it’s time to take a stand.
