Sometimes, the Best Exhibit is the Cheapest

by | May 14, 2025 | One Time in Court Story, Personal Injury

We were trying a complicated construction accident case where a scaffold fell on top of our client.

The construction site was very complicated.

Although we had several computerized exhibits, the best exhibit that we used was three pieces of balsa wood that we bought from the Dollar Store to glue together, with items from the craft store to make a makeshift scaffold.

The jury actually took it back to the deliberation room with them.

As one of my law school professors once said, “KISS: Keep it simple, stupid.”

If you or a loved one has been injured due to someone else’s negligence, it’s time to take a stand.
