We were trying a construction case in the counties where the Defendant was represented by a very capable young lawyer.

Despite this, the law firm’s managing partner appeared at the trial every other day.

It wasn’t because the lawyer made a mistake.

It was because the lawyer was representing the managing partner’s son.

Although he wasn’t very familiar with the case, he kept interjecting and telling his son what to do in the background.

He was there as a dad, not a boss.
