While presenting at a Bench Bar CLE about how to introduce evidence, we joked that our method worked every time… except with one unnamed judge.
We didn’t realize she was in the audience.
She stood up, smiled, and said, “That’s exactly why I didn’t let that exhibit into evidence in my courtroom.”
